Talisker

We were asked by Talisker Whisky to design a Wilderness bar in Valley of the Rocks, Devon. The idea was to create a shelter for guests to sit around a fire and exchange stories. We looked at the landscape, caves and waves to influence the shape of the structure. The structure was clad with planks to resemble casks and lined internally with copper to evoke a whisky still and reflect the fire light at night.
